My husband & I are living in a charming 95 year old home on Galveston Island, Texas. The location is perfect, we are one block from the Gulf of Mexico, and have the pleasure of seeing the Trolley roll by our house several times a day.

When we moved into this little jewel, I made the decision to furnish & decorate the home with items I could find at yard sales, estate sales and auctions. Prior to our move to Galveston, we sold most of our large pieces of furniture, so I had lots of space to fill.

All types of old furniture can be found at yard & estate sales, and if you are lucky enough to have local auctions, amazing pieces can be purchased for equally amazing prices. The trick is not to be put off by worn or damaged items. Most of the fun is re-
creating these found treasures with your own unique style.

Hopefully, the following projects will inspire you!!!
